This list shows the parts I plan to use in the carputer, I have them laid out in a pretty straightforward manner for those of you who like my ideas and want to replicate them for their own PERSONAL use. If you sell my ideas, I'll find you and you won't like what happens after that. I'm crazy, ya know! 
I have the columns set up as such: An image of the part, a brief description with links to more extensive info where it's needed, and then what the part cost me and where I got it from. "N/A" means I already had the part. Most of the photos are clickable and will open a new window with larger photos and/or seperate pages with several images and more detailed information for that item.

Screen: 7" Diagonal 16:9 widescreen TFT Touchscreen with two compisite video inputs (RCA jacks) and 1 VGA input. Claims to do 1600x1200, but I won't be running anything higher than the native 800x480 resolution of the screen.

Memory: two 32MB EDO 72Pin SIMMs from an old pentium box I had in the closet (I knew I was keeping that old crap around for a reason...) 64MB is plenty for this simple machine.

Hard Drive: Maxtor 40GB EIDE 3.5" drive. This is not a special laptop hard drive - it's a regular old 3.5" drive - the same type used in regular desktop PCs.
